Job Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Event Coordination: Support the organization and execution of film screenings, festivals, and special events hosted by the BFI.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to department heads, including data entry, scheduling meetings, and organizing files.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on various film-related topics, market trends, and audience demographics to support decision-making processes.
  • Content Creation: Assist with content creation for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Film Preservation: Aid in the preservation and restoration efforts of historical films, including cataloging, digitization, and archiving tasks.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to BFI members, patrons, and guests attending BFI events or visiting BFI venues.

  • Passion for film, television, and the arts.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
  • Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in film studies, arts administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
