Fife Council is seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our dynamic team. This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments within the council. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of council projects and initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members on various tasks and projects.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and meeting coordination.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement activities.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
- Support the delivery of services in areas such as environmental management, social care, education, and economic development.
Job Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Public Administration, Environmental Science, Social Work, Business Administration, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous volunteer or work experience in a related field is a plus.
