Care Quality Commission (CQC) Internships is a subsidiary of the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to join our dynamic team at CQC Internships. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field of healthcare regulation and quality improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving healthcare services, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review and analysis of data related to healthcare service quality.
- Support the evaluation of care providers’ compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to assess the quality of care delivered.
- Assist in drafting reports and recommendations based on findings from quality assessments.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and innovation in healthcare regulation.
- Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of regulatory processes and quality assurance methodologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of CQC Internships.
Job Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., public health, healthcare management, quality improvement).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
