Job Responsibilities:

  • Editorial Interns: Assist with researching, writing, and editing articles. Attend editorial meetings, pitch story ideas, and collaborate with reporters and editors on various projects.
  • Social Media Interns: Support the social media team in creating content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing engagement metrics. Help develop strategies to increase audience interaction and reach.
  • Design Interns: Work with the design team on creating visuals for articles, social media, and other platforms. Assist with layout design, infographic creation, and multimedia projects.
  • Marketing and Communications Interns: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, writing press releases, and managing communication strategies. Help with brand positioning and audience engagement initiatives.
  • Data and Analytics Interns: Work with the analytics team to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to website traffic, social media engagement, and reader behavior. Provide insights to help drive editorial and business decisions.

  • Current student or recent graduate in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in journalism, media, and current events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite for design interns, social media platforms for social media interns, etc.).
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
